Description
A statement of work (SoW) is usually the second or logistics very detailed document following agreement by the parties of a detailed proposal or specification document which initiates the requirement for work or on a project of the client/customer to be carried out by the provider/contractor/developer. This SoW template can be used for any type of project and gives suggested headings for typical stages, work type, deliverables, timetable and milestones towards Go-live/roll-out/completion of the project. It also refers to general terms and conditions (Section 13) which are usually contained in the proposal or agreement which precedes an SoW but if not, then Contractor’s or sometimes the client/customer’s general terms and conditions are usually referred to as the default terms and conditions to cover issues such as copyright, warranty, liability, indemnity, termination, applicable law, dispute resolution and other general legal clauses but if not, then sections 14 to 22 (as a minimum) are included in the SoW.
