John A. Tessensohn

John is a foreign attorney-at-law at SHUSAKU·YAMAMOTO, Osaka. His practice covers all aspects of technology-related and internet-related legal matters including complex agreements for technology services, cybersecurity, outsourcing, software development and distribution, inbound and outbound licensing agreements, creation and use of software (including open source software), mobile apps (B2C and B2B), websites, hosted services and cloud computing, use of social media and user generated content, FinTech, distribution of online content, technology systems, insourcing, e-Commerce, terms and advice related to the Internet of Things (IoT), IT licensing, international intellectual property, patent, trademark & IP litigation, client software and web site terms of use, cryptography and digital signature issues, development agreements, privacy advisory services and compliance, software component licensing, web site privacy statements, web site co-branding and advertising agreements and international commercial transactions & complex litigation.

He has studied at National University of Singapore and Fordham University School of Law, USA. He is an admitted Attorney and Counsellor at Law, Supreme Court of the State of New York (2000) and Advocate & Solicitor, Supreme Court of the Republic of Singapore (1993).
